I love working with clay, any type of clay, but lately I have been going back to basics and working with polymer clay (which is where I started out years ago) and I am loving it all over again. On last Tuesday’s show, I chose to make a simple white Sacred Heart out of clay and then I painted it and glittered it up a bit. Of course, you can choose to use the separate colors of clay and get a similar effect but I wanted to show how just one block (which when on sale is a great value) can be used to make a fun and beautiful piece of art. I hope you’ll find by watching my videos that clay is fun to use with children and the possibilities are endless. I also added the flame you can save on your computer if you need a template!

September is going to be a great month on Things Crafty as we have all kinds of new stuff coming along!
